If you haven’t been watching, we have a new leader. Christine of Team 15 Purple has been a riding fool and has slipped into the lead. At this rate, she will be our first rider to hit the 2,000 mile marker! That is a lot of butt-in-the-saddle time! Sixteen days of the Derby left – who will win / place / and show?
Mile Markers
- Team 15 Purple has crossed 1,900 miles and heading for the big 2-0-0-0
- Alice of Team 46 has crossed 200 miles.
Next year’s Derby has 56 teams entered to date. There are 35 returning riders from DD 2012 and 21 new riders. I see lots of excitement out there on Facebook. If you haven’t entered yet and plan to, please let me know. I’d like to get all the bookkeeping done so that Diane can get ready for her new role.
