I came home from work and cought Cash and did the same thing you did. Ride Ride Ride, I was home by 6:00, I rode 4:79 Fun Fun Fun.. Jan, 10 4 :79 miles
One last ride before it truns cold It was great. My avrage speed was 12.7, we were moving. We went 5.62 miles. I sure do like my GPS it is alot of fun.
I am glad you are having fun with your GPS, Janette. I started using one in 2004 and haven't been without it since. I have even used it when I got lost a couple of times. Its an easy way to track for this derby, but I hope some of you are exploring its other functions. The other night I was out pretty far and knew I was pushing daylight, so I scrolled thru the GPS to find out when the sun was setting and gauged my speed back home accordingly.
Wonderful weekend. Feb26 I rode 21.72 miles over theweekend. I did not shop on Saturday, had to work in the morning so couldn't go. how was the sale. Sunday was the best ride I can't belive it is only feb.26. I am a warm weather rider. on a normal year I would not even be riding yet. I never quit riding last fall, been riding all winter. Love it.
I had a chilly ride tonight, I got home from work early, it was a nice day so went for a quick ride. I just put on my swetshirt, no hat no gloves. { no one ever said I was smart.} When the wind changed to the north I know I was going to be cold. And I was. But I put on 5.62 miles in 1 hour and 21minutes.
I rode today, It reminded me of the Fri. before mothers day ride a few years back. WINDYWINDYWINDY I went 8:96 miles today and hung on tight all the way.
I rode last night , Another wonderful night to ride. My horse was a bit of a butt, he was like a bad little boy. Today we are going over to Indian Cave for our first camping trip of the year fun fun fun. Oh yah I rode 6.57 miles tonight.
We went over to Indian Cave For the first camping trip of the year, What a great time. The horses are still not shed off, It was 85, that doses not mix, Saturday afternoon we went 4.56 miles that was all Truck could handle, I felt sorry for him and we came back. Sunday I got up early and rode just me and Cash, we went 15.61 miles. They have a few new trails this year that I tryed out. Had a blast, Cash was pooped but was still ready to go.
Today was a great day for a ride,Real hot and windy, Took a long ride, got a sunburn fron hell. I rode all afternoon. We went 24.72 miles, shoud of taken a long sleve shirt, what a dork.
This was a windy riding weekend, But I put in a few. Saturday I went 12:93 miles and Sunday I went 6:27, Sunday it was almost as windy as 2 years ago at the Mothers day Ride, Thank god not as cold as that day.
I worked hard today. When I got home it was not windy and the most wonderful day. I was on my way to the store to buy bread and milk when my horse nickered at me. That is all it took I went 8:52 miles by my self, it was so peaceful.
I rode my better halfs horse tonight, He likes to ride but not like I do. If he rides 2 or 3 times a mounth I am lucky. So I thought The Truck{that is his name} needed to go out We had a good ride. 6:17 miles. Truck loved it and Cash did not care that he got left.
I went on a nice ride today, I went 17:60 miles. Cash came home with a sore leg. It semes to be in his hock, Must of sprang it or someting. I might have to ride someone eles for a while.
I went for a little ride on Cash tonight, His leg is better, But I didn't ride very hard. Only went 5:56 at a walk all the way. He did not limp at all.
Went on a Sunday ride with friends, We went 15:79 miles, I rode Tuuck my older horse, man he is the roughest horse ever. But that is my fault for not riding hin more.
What a Good ride we had, So many people showed up. I don't think I seen them all.The pictures that were put on I loved them. You do so much for us and I thank you for it. I went 15:23 miles and top speed was 19 MPH. Loved the ride!!!!!!!

I am over 600 miles, I am so exited. To night was my Tuesday night ride. We had a very good turn out, We had so much fun. We rode 15:75 miles. that makes my Milage for the year is 609:77, What a wonderful ride we had.
I had two evening rides this week. On Friday I rode 6:12 miles, and on Saturday I rode 5:89. It was kind of humid but I went any way. My milage is 621:78
I had a good Sunday morning, I got up at 6:00 and saddled up Cash with idea of a short ride. 19:52 miles later I am home before it is hot. I like riding with others, but there is something about riding alone that is just piceful. I had to try out my new reins that one of my Amish friends hand made for me. They are great. My milage is 641:30.
I rode Thursday night and did not record it so it is on the one . Friday I got two teeth pulled out, so did not feal much like riding, I went 12:89 miles that makes my milage 662:42.
Today is my Tuesday night ride. We just about canceled it, but we decided to just ride and if it is to bad wewill come home, It was a good ride, 11:43 miles that makes my milage is. 680:19.
What a good 4th of July morning. I got up at 6:00 and went on a ride by myself, it was great, very relaxing,. We went 16:27 that makes my milage 696:46 cool!!!!
Got up early on Saturday morning and went for a ride, I won't say a pleasent ride, but I had fun so I guess that is all that counts. We went 13:10 miles. that makes my milage at 709:56. There was not a breath of air moving, when we got anywhere close to trees the deer flys were so bad you had to gallope to get a way from them. We were on the other side of town out in the woods when I decided to call it quites. We came home right throught the middle of town, The deer flys were not so bad there.
My Tuesday night ride was last night. What great weather we had !!! I was shocked that only 3 other people showed up. We did have a nice time thow. Went 14:01 miles, It was just about dark when we got home. Milage is 734:00

Janette; found the hours that I had missed and will show in the next update. There is a correction in your math - on 7/22, you rode 13.39 miles for a total of 776.38 which is correct. Then on 7/28, you rode 7:45 which would bring your total to 773.81 not 783.83. Double check my math, but I think that is right.
Sunday morning, 12:56 miles = 786:37 I am Planing a trip, I am going to ride to Indian Cave, It will be a 2 day trip. We will take back roads and go in the back gate so I don't have to ride past the Frount gate. As soon as it is a little cooler.

I rode Truck for a while 8:10 miles. I could of went farther but I wanted to cross the 1000 mile mark with my best friend, Cash, So Sunday with a new set for Shoes we started Long troting and loping, my plan was to go untill he started to sweet and turn around and start home slower ! after 10 miles he still was not sweeting so I turned around for home. On the way home I let him chose his own pace. I can't belive he loped 5 miles before I slowed him down. We went 21:56 miles in 2 hours and 10 min. Now that is a horse. Love him much. Now that =1019:43 He is a champ.
I love that you wanted to wait and hit 1,000 with Cash. I get that way, too - want my milestones to be on Windy. Glad I'm not the only sentimental one! Sorry you missed the challenge but CONGRATS on the millennium club!
Went to Rock Creek St. with my friends. There were 11 of us . I have to say I had more fun that I have had in a long time. We went 22:65 miles that= 1103:47
This week end Wasn't a good riding weekend for me. Things just happened that stoped me from riding much. I only rode 9:12 miles. that = 1161:76. I will make up for it during the week.
I rode after wook tonight just to make it to 1200. miles. It was very importand. I went 5:72 that = 1200:56 That was close. If it wouldn't been far enof I would of went out and rode around the block.
I just can't get to far after work. Tonight I even hurried fast, I only got4:26 that =1319:43. I am hoping this weekend to put on some time in the Saddle.
You better come to the derby dinner or I will send the fairier as Christine says, YOu watched me ride in and out of rock crrek and I love you for that. I never get off and the ladies of Pierce CReek know that.

I rode Monday and Tuesday evening after wook, you just can't get to far after wook anymore. I went 5:42 togeather. that= 1291:23.
